The objective of Better care for the future is to provide young people with a nurturing secure base from which they can safely explore their own identity and to support them to develop independence, resilience and a strong sense of self-worth.
We will work to provide availability to our young people through the predictability and security of the daily routines found within a stable family-based household.
Our young people will be supported to learn the skills necessary to live independently after care. This will include being taught valuable life skills within the home as well as an individualised structured programme, tailored to their specific age, level of understanding and level of risk, that increases their autonomy whilst continuing to effectively safeguard them.

We build behaviour management methods with our children/young people, and while we recognise that we may not tolerate some behaviours, we will accept them unconditionally.
